FridgeNality provides a way for users to request the deletion of their data.

  1. Go to your Facebook Account’s "Settings & Privacy." Click on "Settings."

  2. Navigate to "Apps and Websites" to see your active app activities.

  3. Find [Your App Name] and click the "Remove" button.

  4. (Optional) To request a manual deletion of all data we have stored, please email our support team at [Your Support Email] with the subject "Data Deletion Request." We will process your request and provide a confirmation number within 30 days.

1. Overview

This Data Deletion Policy explains how FridgeNality, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles the deletion of user data, including data obtained through third-party platform integrations such as Facebook Login or other Meta platform services. We are committed to respecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws and platform policies, including Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all personal data collected, stored, or processed by [Your Website/App Name], including but not limited to:

  • Information provided directly by users (e.g., name, email address, profile photo)

  • Data received via Meta platform integrations (e.g., Facebook Login, Instagram Basic Display API)

  • Usage data, behavioral data, and any derived data associated with a user account

3. Your Right to Delete Your Data

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. This includes all data we collected from you directly, as well as any data received through your connection to Meta's platforms.

Upon a valid deletion request, we will:

  • Permanently delete your account and all associated personal data from our active systems

  • Remove your data from our backups within 90 days of the deletion request

  • Revoke all stored access tokens and permissions obtained through Meta or other third-party platforms

  • Cease any further processing of your personal data, except as required by law

4. How to Request Data Deletion

You may submit a data deletion request through any of the following methods:

4.1 In-App / On-Website Deletion

  1. Log in to your account on [Your Website/App Name]

  2. Navigate to Settings → Privacy → Delete My Account

  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm deletion

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of confirmation.

4.2 Facebook Data Deletion Callback (Meta Requirement)

In compliance with Meta's Platform Policy, we support the Facebook Data Deletion Request Callback. When you remove our app from your Facebook account settings, or submit a deletion request via Facebook, we will:

  1. Receive the deletion request automatically via our registered callback URL

  2. Initiate deletion of all data associated with your Facebook User ID

  3. Provide you with a confirmation code and a status check URL so you can verify that your data has been deleted

You may use this URL to confirm the status of your deletion request at any time.

4.3 Email Request

You may also submit a deletion request by emailing us at:

Please include:

  • Your full name

  • The email address associated with your account

  • A brief description of the data you wish to have deleted

We will respond within 5 business days to confirm receipt and initiate the deletion process.

5. Data We Delete

Upon a deletion request, we permanently remove the following categories of data:

6. Data We May Retain

Certain data may be retained after a deletion request, strictly as required by law or for legitimate legal purposes:

  • Financial/transactional records — Will Not Be Retained

  • Legal hold data — retained if subject to active or anticipated legal proceedings

  • Fraud prevention logs — retained in anonymized or aggregated form as permitted by law

  • Regulatory compliance data — retained as required by applicable regulations

Retained data will not be used for any marketing, profiling, or operational purposes.

7. Third-Party Data Sharing and Deletion

If we have shared your data with third-party service providers (e.g., analytics, hosting, customer support tools), we will notify those providers of your deletion request and require them to delete your data in accordance with their data processing agreements and applicable law.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share Meta platform data with third parties except as expressly permitted by Meta's Platform Terms.

9. Verification

  • Confirming your registered email address via a verification link
